Beta privacy notice

Thaimly is operated by Simon Roehrs. This notice describes the friends beta distributed through Apple TestFlight. Contact simon.psn.th@gmail.com for support, privacy questions or requests about information you have shared.

Your documents stay on your device

Thaimly helps you manage Thailand stay dates, reporting reminders, documents and membership details. You may enter profile and contact details, passport and visa information, arrival dates, reporting history and Thailand Privilege card details. Structured records are stored in an encrypted local database; imported documents use encrypted app-private storage.

Card and document recognition runs on your device. Supported Apple devices may also use an on-device language model for limited assistance. Thaimly does not send documents, images, OCR text or immigration records to a cloud AI service. Review proposed information before saving it. Reminders use local notifications.

Premium and diagnostics in this beta

Premium is included without payment. Purchases are disabled, no subscription is started, and this build does not initialize RevenueCat billing or Sentry crash reporting. It has no advertising, cross-app tracking or developer cloud sync. Thaimly does not sell your personal information.

The app can keep a bounded, encrypted diagnostic audit on your device, containing event categories, timings, diagnostic hashes and record identifiers. You control whether to export a beta summary. This is separate from Apple's TestFlight data collection.

Apple TestFlight and feedback

Apple automatically collects beta crash and usage data and makes it available to the developer. Feedback you submit, including comments and screenshots, is also shared. A public-link invitation does not display your name or email to the developer, but submitted feedback may identify you. See Apple's TestFlight privacy notice for details.

Simon uses beta diagnostics and feedback to investigate bugs, improve Thaimly and respond to support requests. If you email support, your email address and message are processed by the email provider and received by Simon. Please do not send passport scans, membership-card photos, identification numbers or database exports. Remove personal details from screenshots.

Sharing, backups and links

You choose when to export documents or create a password-protected backup, and where to save or share them through the operating system. The receiving service's privacy practices apply. Thaimly does not receive your backup or password and cannot recover a forgotten backup password. Camera, photo selection and notification access are used for the features you request.

Opening an external website sends normal web-request information to that website. This notice is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes connection information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the page. The page has no analytics scripts, advertising or forms.

Retention and your choices

You can edit or delete supported records and use Delete All Local Data in the app. Local records remain under your control; uninstalling is subject to the operating system's storage and backup behavior. Copies you exported must be deleted from their destinations separately.

Support messages and beta feedback are retained as needed to respond to you and resolve the reported issues. Contact Simon to request access, correction or deletion of information he holds, or to raise a privacy concern. He cannot access or delete records held only on your device. Apple controls the retention and privacy choices for its TestFlight service.

About this beta

The friends beta is intended for adult testers. Thaimly is independent of the Thai Government and Immigration Bureau. It does not submit official reports or replace official immigration guidance. Beta software may contain errors, and TestFlight builds expire. Keep your original documents and do not rely on the beta as your only record.

Material changes to these practices will be described in an updated notice for the relevant beta build.
